BackCheck Labs Goalie · Getting Started
How It Works
Set up your goalie once. Tap as shots come. Watch save %, GAA, and shots faced build up across the game, the season, and a whole career. Here's the full workflow.

Set Up Your Goalie
Add one goalie profile — name, jersey number, team. That's the entire setup. Reuse the same profile every game, every season, for their whole career.
Start a Game
Tap "New Game", enter the opponent, and you're tracking. No line setup, no roster import, no team management. The goalie app does one thing.
Tap as Shots Come
One tap per save. One tap per goal against. The app handles the math — save percentage and GAA update as you go. No spreadsheet after the game.
See the Game Stat Sheet
After the final buzzer, the full goalie stat sheet is there: shots faced, saves, goals against, GAA, and save % for the game you just tracked.
Build Season & Career Totals
Every game you track rolls up automatically. Season save %, GAA, shots faced, shutouts. Career totals follow your goalie across every season you log.
Where Your Data Lives
No Account. No Cloud.
Nothing to sign up for, and nothing sent anywhere. Buy it, open it, start tracking.
It lives on your phone
Your goalie's profile, games and stats are stored on the device, in the app's own storage. Nothing is transmitted to BackCheck Labs, and it works in a rink with no signal.
It rides along in your backup
Like most app data, it's included in your normal device backup — iCloud Backup if you have it on, or an encrypted backup to your computer. That backup is Apple's, under your Apple Account. We have no access to it.
And you can take it with you
Export your goalie's stats from the app and keep your own copy — a file that outlives any one phone.
What's not there yet is sync between devices — stats tracked on one phone stay on that phone. It's on the roadmap. Full detail in the privacy policy.
